You might not need to wait until the October Prime Day sale starts next month to pull the trigger on a pair of headphones, with many big brands already discounting their flagship models to their lowest prices ever. I've gathered the best deals on some of the biggest brands currently available on Amazon right now. If you see a pair that speaks to you, these early deals are a good deal.

The Ultra Open Earbuds are Bose's attempt at riding the trending tech wave of open earbuds that allow you to hear your surroundings, rather than canceling them, and they're a pretty good option at that, earning an 8/10 from my colleagues at CNET. And at their current price of $199.99 (originally $299.99), they are also something of a steal.

The Sony WH-CH720N are just $98

Not everyone needs or can spend nearly half a grand on the latest Sony headphones. If you are looking for a bargain on a budget, then perhaps the more affordable Sony WH-CH720N are for you. While they're not quite as premium, they're significantly cheaper and offer good enough quality for most people. You can get them for $103.99 (originally $179.99) on Amazon right now.

The older and refurbished Sony 1000XM5 are just $160

If you don't need the latest XM6 headphones and are good with the older XM5 version—which are still incredible headphones—a refurbished pair is $159.99 on Amazon. A new pair will run you $298, which is still a pretty good deal compared to the $399.99 launch price.

The Beats Fit Pro earbuds are $70 off

The Beats Fit Pro (1st Gen) earbuds aren’t the newest exercise earbuds on the market (or even on the Beats line—that would be the Powerbeats Pro 2), but they’re a classic option with ANC and a comfortable fit, making them a sportier version of AirPods Pro, with a slight edge when it comes to battery life. You can get a pair in white or pink for $124.95 (originally $199.95), the lowest price ever.

If you value comfort, user-friendliness, and the best ANC for the money, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd gen) are your best option. And right now, the latter of those is $50 off, bringing them down to $249 (originally $299). I've had my own pair of Bose earbuds for over a year, and they're still my go-to choice for everyday listening. As much as I like the idea of being able to fine-tune every detail of my audio, something keeps pulling me toward the simplicity and user-friendliness of these earbuds, despite having so many options at my disposal as a tech reviewer.

Since Prime Big Deal Days happens in the fall, you're likely to see more deals on gaming and indoor gym equipment.
